Tallahassee, FL — May 1, 2023, injuries were reported following a semi-truck accident at around 8:30 a.m. along Interstate 10.
Right now, details surrounding the multi-vehicle crash are limited. Authorities with the Florida Highway Patrol released in their statements that the collision occurred along westbound lanes of the interstate in the area of North Monroe Street/U.S. Highway 27.
It appears in preliminary findings that a semi-truck going along eastbound I-10 somehow left its lane. The truck then smashed into a concrete barrier. Somehow, at least three other vehicles were involved, though it’s unclear if collisions led to the truck hitting the wall or if the truck hitting the wall started a chain reaction.
At this time, reports say there are injuries, but it’s unclear who may be hurt or how severe the injuries may be. Investigations are ongoing.
