Authorities say that on July 10, a collision occurred between a pickup truck and a semi-truck on Highway 112. According to reports, the pickup driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle and collided with the nearby semi-truck. The accident reportedly happened shortly before 11:00 a.m.
Investigators have not determined what caused the crash but confirm the pickup driver, 51-year-old Scotty Lloyd, sustained severe injuries. Officials say Lloyd died at the scene of the accident. Three other occupants of the pickup were also injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment.
