Clay County, TX — February 7, 2026, Sandeep Singh was killed as the result of a truck accident at around 10:27 p.m. along US Highway 287.
According to preliminary details about the accident, it took place outside of Bellevue at the intersection of US 287 and Belknap Creek Road.
Investigators said that 34-year-old Sandeep Singh was in a semi-truck going northwest along US 287. While doing so, the truck somehow went off-road, and it crashed and overturned on an embankment.
Due to the crash, Sandeep Singh was killed. No further information about the crash can be confirmed at this time.

Too often, I find that people overlook accidents like this one. They see only one vehicle was involved, and they figure that makes things open-and-shut. However, any commercial truck wreck is going to present complex possible factors that demand a thorough investigation. That means everything from tire blowouts to vehicle defects to cargo shifts to overly demanding schedules all deserve attention. At the end of the day, the victim isn’t around to speak for themselves. That’s why it’s the evidence that needs to tell the story. Are authorities taking steps to ensure that happens here?
