Austin, TX — December 15, 2024, Ryan Herb and two others were injured following a car accident at around 4:10 a.m. off F.M. 620.
Details from authorities said that the incident happened off the corner of F.M. 620 and El Salido Parkway along Aloe Vera Trail.
According to officials, Ryan Herb and two others were in a vehicle traveling northbound at the time. In a series of events not clear, the vehicle ended up crashing into a pole. Due to this, Ryan Herb and one of the other occupants had serious injuries. The third occupant had less-serious injuries.
Right now, additional details about the crash remain unconfirmed.

One concern following any crash involving younger victims is that authorities may be quick to jump to conclusions. Younger drivers are statistically more likely to make mistakes, that’s true. Sometimes, though, authorities just run with that instead of actually conducting thorough investigations and letting the evidence speak for itself. Perhaps authorities here were able to give the victims here the benefit of the doubt and look at the facts, however it wouldn’t be unusual if there had to be more thorough independent investigations to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
