Houston, TX — January 14, 2024, two people sustained injuries as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around 1:00 a.m. on North Loop 610.
Authorities said in their preliminary statements on the crash that it happened off the westbound main lanes of North Loop 610 East at the exit to transfer to northbound Eastex Freeway.
According to officials, a 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman were in a Cadillac CTS going along Loop 610. While taking the Eastex exit, the vehicle somehow ran off the side of the road. There, the vehicle overturned, re-entering the ramp where the vehicle came to a stop.
As a result of the crash, both women in the Cadillac has apparently serious injuries. There were no other reported injuries. It also appears no other vehicles were involved in the crash. At this time, additional details are unavailable.
