Fort Worth, TX — November 5, 2023, Robert Adam Chazarreta was killed following a hit-and-run accident at around 9:52 p.m. along N.E. 28th Street.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened off the corner of Northeast 29th Street and North Main Street.
According to officials, 50-year-old Robert Adam Chazarreta was walking at the time and reportedly attempted to cross the roadway. While doing so, authorities say that an eastbound Jeep Cherokee hit Chazarreta. Chazarreta died as a result of the collision. Authorities say that the driver of the Jeep left the scene, however information suggests authorities had the vehicle information. No charges have been reported at this time.

Hopefully the fact authorities seem to know the vehicle involved here means they’ll identify the runaway driver, if they haven’t already. Considering a lot of hit-and-runs involve people running due to things like warrants, drunk driving, and drugs, it’s important there’s accountability here so the victim’s loved ones at least know there were appropriate consequences for what happened here.
