South Whitehall Township, PA — July 4, 2023, Richard Weatherspoon was injured in a single-vehicle truck accident around 4 p.m. Cedar Crest Blvd. in S. Whitehall Township.
Authorities report the victim’s semi-truck was navigating the interchange from Cedar Crest Blvd. to Route 22 when the truck allegedly overturned onto its driver’s side. The impact reportedly forced the trailer to break and debris was spread all across the Route 22 westbound lanes, halting traffic for about 2 hours.
Mr. Weatherspoon purportedly suffered minor injuries.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
