Socorro, TX — August 15, 2024, Rene Marquez was injured following a car accident around 5:37 A.M. on Alameda Ave.
An investigation is underway following a car accident that happened during the morning rush-hour on August 15th. According to official reports, Rene Marquez was travelling west on Alameda when a Dodge Durango driving east failed to maintain their lane and crashed into a median. The collision caused the vehicle to roll into the opposite lane where it struck Marquez’s vehicle.
When the first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Marquez had sustained serious injuries and they were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, there has been no other information released, including the status of Marquez’s injuries, as well as if any charges or citation will be filed.
