No other details have been confirmed, but authorities suggested alcohol may have been involved here. Is that true? And if so, where did the alcohol come from?
It’s important that victims and families can be sure they’re getting the whole story in these situations. It would obviously be important to see an intoxicated driver answer for their actions, but there is often an alcohol provider involved, as well. If they illegally over-served the driver, they could face criminal investigations, fines, and even liability for the harm resulting from their actions.
I have yet to see authorities mention looking into these possibilities, so I can’t help wondering if this accident may not be getting the attention it really deserves.
