Kirbyville, TX — April 29, 2024, Rafael Aldaco was injured following a rear-end car accident at approximately 6:00 a.m. along State Highway 96.
According to authorities, 50-year-old Rafael Aldaco was traveling in a southbound Dodge Neon on S.H. 96 in the vicinity of C.R. 588 when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck failed to properly control its speed and crashed into the back-end of the Neon. Aldaco was reportedly entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated upon the arrival of emergency personnel. Once freed from the aftermath, Aldaco was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive treatment for the injuries he sustained during the crash. No other injuries have been reported.
