Benbrook, TX — May 2, 2024, Quinton Mitchell was injured as the result of a car accident at around 1:23 a.m. along Southwest Loop 820.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened at SW Loop 820 and Benbrook Boulevard.
Investigators said that 29-year-old Quinton Mitchell was in a Honda HR-V going eastbound on the freeway. It appears the vehicle left its lane, and it crashed into a barrier. Quinton Mitchell was seriously injured in the accident.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. No further information is available at this time.

Single vehicle accidents are often overlooked because they’re either seen as simple or a low priority. I’ve had many families come to me months after a serious crash still asking the same questions they were on day one. That’s why independent investigators often have to step in and fill in the blanks. Maybe authorities here were more thorough, but it’s not unusual for folks to want an outside opinion after a serious crash.
