Wichita, KS — March 27, 2023, a police officer was injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 3:30 p.m. at Hwy 42 and South Hoover Rd. in Wichita.
Sources report a police officer had just completed responding to a call for a crash when attempting to merge back onto Hwy. 42 when it was struck by a westbound semi-truck. The police officer reportedly suffered minor injuries. The semi-truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
The crash is still under investigation.
