Corpus Christi, TX — April 18, 2025, a pedestrian sustained injuries as the result of a hit-and-run accident at around 10:46 p.m. along Gollihar Road.
Initial details about the accident say that it happened near the intersection of Gollihar and Burkshire Drive.
According to officials, a pedestrian was in the area of Gollihar when a passing vehicle struck the pedestrian. That vehicle continued driving and left the scene. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with reportedly serious injuries.
Corpus Christi Police officials released a video of the incident. They’re looking for information that can help identify the runaway driver.

It’s good to see authorities putting out information to the public, and hopefully they continue to do so. Oftentimes, someone in the community is able to connect the dots and come forward with useful information. That can eventually lead to a suspect and ultimately holding that person accountable for the accident and for any possible mistakes that led to the accident in the first place.
