The victim of this crash—a 71-year-old man—was reportedly attempting to enter his minivan which had been parked on the shoulder of Live Oak Street when he and his vehicle were struck by a westbound Buick Lucerne.
While the victim was flown to a local medical facility, he eventually succumbed to the fatal injuries he incurred as a result of the accident. Authorities have recommended charges intoxication manslaughter against the 71-year-old man who had been the sold occupant of the Buick.
Marlin, TX — December 30, 2023, a pedestrian was injured in a car accident just after 6:10 in the evening along Live Oak Street.
According to authorities, the accident took place along Live Oak Street in the vicinity of the Falls Street intersection.
For as yet unconfirmed reasons, a vehicle reportedly collided with a pedestrian, resulting in the incursion of reportedly severe injuries on the part of the pedestrian. The victim was flown to a local hospital in order to receive immediate treatment.
