Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
I have to wonder if authorities made any more conclusive statements behind the scenes after these initial statements. If a driver failed to yield and hit a pedestrian, that would certainly warrant consequences, right? Well, my concern is that sometimes situations like this are treated as a low priority. This can leave victims and families at the whims of a department that may not have their best interests at heart.
That’s why a lot of folks end up looking for alternative legal avenues to see there are consequences after a serious accident. Patience may be a virtue, but evidence is time-sensitive, and people deserve to get a resolution—sooner rather than later.
