Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
If authorities have yet to locate the suspect involved in this accident, it might help if they continue to put details out to the public. Even weeks or months after an accident, someone may know something helpful. I’ve seen hit-and-runs that went unsolved for nearly a year, but someone in the community was able to come forward with previously unseen evidence that helped lead to an arrest. The same could very well happen here, if it hasn’t already. However, that might require authorities to be even more forward with publishing details about the accident so someone can finally connect the dots.
