Denton, TX — September 11, 2024, One person was injured following a pedestrian accident that occurred around 9:10 A.M. on Hickory St.
An investigation is underway following a car accident involving a pedestrian that left one person seriously injured in the morning hours of September 11th. According to official reports, a 18-year-old man was riding his scooter in the bike lane along the 1800 block of Hickory St near Avenue C when a vehicle struck the pedestrian as they were turning into a private driveway.
When first responders arrived on the scene they found that the pedestrian had sustained serious injuries and transported him to the hospital for treatment. At this time the status of his injuries is unknown, as well as whether any charges or citations will be issued.
