An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person seriously injured during the morning hours of September 9th. According to official reports, a 20-year-old woman was walking on a cross-walk by Texas Ave near New Main Dr when a vehicle did not give her the right-of-way and struck her.
As a result of the collision, the pedestrian suffered severe injuries, and upon arrival by first responders she was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time the status of the injured woman is not known, and it is also unknown if any charges or citations will be issued.
