Harris County, TX — January 2, 2026, one person was injured following a car versus pedestrian accident around 1:59 a.m. along the Sam Houston Tollway.
Officials said that the collision took place in the area of Loop 8 and Fuqua Street in the area of eastbound lanes.
Authorities said that a 45-year-old man was on foot at the time. While on foot, a Honda Civic struck the man. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries as a result. Authorities did not report any charges or citations.
