How Did This Accident Occur?

Most people who read about this crash probably would assume it happened because the motorcyclist was being reckless. That is because of lingering, but inaccurate, stereotypes, but any such assumptions have no place in accident investigations.

Investigators must rely on facts and evidence like vehicle data, witness statements and available video footage. That should help them reconstruct this accident, but they also should push for an in-depth inspection of the motorcycle to determine if a mechanical issue contributed to this crash.

This probe should give the motorcyclist’s family a clear picture of what caused this accident.
