Kalamazoo County, MI — June 1, 2023, one person was injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer in the morning on East D Avenue in Kalamazoo County.
Sources report a semi-truck that was slowing down to make a delivery, on East D Ave. between 28th and 30th street, when the victim’s vehicle allegedly rear-ended the trailer. Emergency responders reportedly had to use the jaw of life to extract the victim.
The victim was purportedly transported to a hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Officials have not released any possible factors that led up to the incident, however, they have said that speed and alcohol consumption are not suspected causes.
