Runnels County, TX — July 2, 2023, a semi-truck driver was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash around 3:13 a.m. on U.S. Hwy. 67 in Runnels County.

According to officials, the victim was heading southwest on the highway, just past County Road 134, in a Ford F550 tractor-trailer when his truck somehow veered off the road toward the driver’s side. The semi-truck allegedly collided with a concrete culvert as it exited the road which purportedly forced the truck to veer more sharply south, strike a road sign, drive through a wire fence, and enter into a rollover crash.

The driver reportedly suffered incapacitating injuries.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
