Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

Regardless of what happened here, I just hope it’s true that injuries here were only minor. Sometimes, the true nature of someone’s injuries isn’t clear until after early reports already come out. I’ve had cases where people who walked away from a crash with some soreness ended up needing surgery or other serious medical care because those injuries got worse over time. That’s why it’s important to take all accidents seriously and ensure there’s a thorough investigation even when things seem open-and-shut.
