New York City, NY — December 4, 2023, a moped driver was killed in a truck accident at some point in the morning along the Cross Bronx Expressway.
According to reports, the victim was riding a moped along the Cross Bronx Expressway when it was involved in a collision with a minivan.
The collision caused the victim to be ejected from the moped and thrown from the elevated expressway, landing in the Webster Avenue and East 175th Street intersection where he was allegedly struck by two vehicles: a red sedan and an 18-wheeler. Neither of the vehicles who struck him in the intersection stopped in order to give aid of any sort; they fled the scene. The victim was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
