Dallas County, TX — January 5, 2024, Monte Scott Arnold was injured as the result of a car accident at around 3:15 p.m. along Wheatland Road.
Preliminary information about the crash says that it happened at the intersection of West Wheatland Road and Walker Way.
According to officials, 61-year-old Monte Arnold was in a Honda Civic that was on Walker Way at the Wheatland intersection. From the roadway, it appears that an eastbound Chevy Impala lost control coming off of U.S. Highway 67, went onto Walker Way, then crashed into the side of Arnold’s Honda.
Rescue workers extricated Arnold from the wreckage, who reportedly had serious injuries. The other driver had no reported injuries. While the cause of the crash can’t be confirmed right now, the driver of the Chevy mentioned possible issues with their brakes. The crash remains under investigation.
