Angelina County, TX — April 11, 2024, Misty Hubbard and two others were injured in a motorcycle versus car accident shortly before 5:45 p.m. along West Frank Avenue.
According to authorities, 44-year-old Misty Hubbard was traveling on a westbound Polaris Slingshot motorcycle on Frank Avenue at the John Reddit Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Kia Rio occupied by a 24-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man on John Reddit Drive failed to stop for the red light indicated by the traffic signal, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the right side of the motorcycle and the front-end of the Kia.
Hubbard suffered reportedly serious injuries due to the wreck and the two people from the Kia sustained minor injuries, as well. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
