Spring, TX — April 7, 2022, Miqueas Perez was killed as the result of an accident involving a fall at a work site along Pagoda Oak Drive.
Initial details provided in public statements from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration show that the incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. in the 23000 block of Pagoda Oak Drive, which appears to be a residential development off Cypresswood Drive.
Details suggest that 33-year-old Miqueas Miranda Perez was working on the roof of a house at the time. Part of the footing beneath Perez apparently gave way, and Perez fell onto the ground below. As a result, Perez sustained injuries which later proved fatal.
OSHA investigators included in their statements that they looked into one alleged rule violation, and they labeled at is a “repeat” violation. The fine recommended for the alleged violation, according to the reports, was $6,699. Current information about the accident is unavailable at this time.
