Escambia County, FL — March 29, 2024, a Milton woman was killed following a semi-truck accident at around 5:30 p.m. at around I-10.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash occurred along eastbound lanes of the interstate just past Pine Forest Road/Highway 297.
According to officials, a 64-year-old Milton woman was in a vehicle going along eastbound I-10. In a series of events not entirely clear right now, a semi-truck crashed into the back of a second semi, pushing that truck into the back of the Milton woman’s vehicle.
EMS transported the Milton woman from the scene with injuries described as serious. There were no other reported injuries. No charges or citations have been reported at this time, and the cause of the crash remains unconfirmed.
