Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Generally speaking, people tend to jump to conclusions when it comes to motorcycle accidents. Like any crash, it can happen for reasons beyond the driver’s control. Motorcyclists, however, are seen as reckless no matter what, which is what makes gathering evidence so crucial in these situations. Could there have been other factors at play? A tire blowout? Mechanical issues? Problems with this cattle guard or the roadway in general? Likely or not, it should be up to the evidence to say what ultimately led to this crash.
