Midland, TX — January 16, 2024, Michael Keith Griffin was injured as the result of a car accident at around 2:00 p.m. along West Front Street.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened along the eastbound lanes of Front Street (Business 20) near South Main Street.
According to officials, 55-year-old Michael Griffin was in a Honda CR-V going eastbound along West Front Street. Griffin was apparently slowing down in the far right lane when a Ford F-350 crashed into Griffin’s vehicle from behind.
Due to the collision, Griffin sustained serious injuries. The other driver was apparently uninjured. Authorities said that the truck driver may have been under the influence of alcohol, but this was not confirmed in initial statements.
