Columbus, GA — February 1, 2024, Matthew St. Clair was killed in a truck accident that took place on U.S. Highway 80, JR Allen Parkway.
According to authorities, 65-year-old Matthew St. Clair was traveling in a westbound 18-wheeler on U.S. Highway 80 in the vicinity of Bradley Road and River Road when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Photographs of the scene which have been published in the news depict the back of a white trailer in a roadside ditch with the cab of the vehicle hidden behind the tree line. St. Clair reportedly incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident.
The weather and road conditions in the area at the time have not been reported on. The investigation is currently ongoing.
