El Paso, TX — July 30, 2023, Manuel Alejandro Gonzalez was killed and Melissa Tristan was injured after a truck accident at 5:22 a.m. Gateway North Boulevard.
Initial details about the fatal crash say that it occurred in the area of the Gateway North and Kenworthy Street intersection.
According to officials, 34-year-old Manuel Alejandro Gonzalez and 36-year-old Melissa Tristan were in a vehicle that was reportedly going southeast along Kenworthy. At the Gaterway North intersection, it appears Gonzalez and Tristan’s vehicle was crossing the intersection when it and a semi-truck turning left from Gateway North to Kenworthy collided.
Due to the collision, Gonzalez sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. Tristan sustained unspecified injuries. It appears there were no other injuries resulting from the crash. Right now, no further information can be confirmed as investigations are ongoing.
