It’s unclear what exactly led to the dump truck apparently losing control. It could have been anything from distracted driving to a tire blowout to a medical emergency. My concern is that nearly a week later, authorities haven’t released much more information. It could be that they know more than they’re telling the public, but I’ve seen a lot of accidents over the years where authorities didn’t say much to the public because they actually weren’t able to give the accident the attention it needed. Is that what’s happening here?
