Austin, TX — March 21, 2023, one person was killed following an accident where a vehicle crashed along the side of the interstate.
Authorities said that the incident happened at around 10:45 p.m. along the ramp from northbound I-35 to eastbound US 290.
A vehicle somehow crashed, pinning the driver, according to ATCEMS. That person, unidentified at this time, died as a result of the crash. No further information can be confirmed currently.

I find people are often quick to blame drivers after single-vehicle wrecks without realizing there are a lot of reasons a crash like this can occur without the driver doing anything wrong. Understanding these possibilities can be vital in getting families the answers they deserve. Hopefully authorities here are able to devote enough time and effort to getting information for the victim’s loved ones regardless of what ultimately led to the crash.
