Bell County, TX — October 23, 2024, Kimberly Kosh-Ruiz was killed and two others were injured in a car accident at about 5:15 p.m. along Thomas Arnold Road.
According to authorities, 49-year-old Kimberly Kosh-Ruiz and a 9-year-old boy were traveling in a northwest bound Honda Accord on Thomas Arnold Road in the vicinity northwest of the Brewer Road intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Honda failed to safely maintain its lane of travel; it reportedly drifted left of center and a collision followed between it and a southeast bound Ford F-250 occupied by a 26-year-old man.
Kosh-Ruiz suffered fatal injuries over the course of the accident, according to reports. The boy who had been with her in the Honda and the man from the pickup truck each sustained serious injuries, as well; they were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
