Houston, TX — February 3, 2024, Joshua Ivie was killed following a multi-car accident at around 3:00 a.m. along the North Freeway.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened along southbound lanes of the interstate in the area of Glenborough Drive.
It appears there had been an initial car accident where a Kia Soul and a Mazda collided. This left those vehicles disabled in lanes of travel. Details suggest 33-year-old Joshua Ivie was standing outside of those vehicles when an approaching Chevy Silverado did not avoid the stationary vehicles, hitting them. This caused Ivie to be hit, as well, and Ivie sustained fatal injuries.
There were no other confirmed injuries resulting from the accidents. Right now, additional details about the accident cannot be confirmed.
