Austin, TX — May 14, 2024, Jordan Henry was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident at approximately 5:45 p.m. along West 2nd Street.
According to authorities, 25-year-old Jordan Henry was traveling on an eastbound Ducati motorcycle on West 2nd Street at the Colorado Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a westbound Cadillac on 2nd Street attempted a left turn onto southbound Colorado Street at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to oncoming eastbound traffic. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the motorcycle and the front-right side of the Cadillac.
Henry suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
