Walker County, TX — June 21, 2023, Johnathan Mozingo was injured due to a single-vehicle car accident at around 11:55 p.m. on F.M. 1375.
Preliminary details about the accident released by authorities indicates that the crash took place in the area of Farm-to-Market 1375 mile marker 667, just outside New Waverly.
Authorities said that 39-year-old Johnathan Mozingo was the driver of a Chevy Silverado that was going eastbound along the roadway at the time. Due to events which cannot be confirmed at this time, the pickup veered off the left side of the road. There, the pickup began to skid before it then crashed and overturned into a ditch.
As a result of the accident, Mozingo had injuries believed to be incapacitating. Details suggest Mozingo may have been trying to avoid something in the road, but further information about the wreck cannot be confirmed at this time.
