Camden County, NJ — December 19, 2023, John Amendolia Jr. was killed in a truck accident at approximately 10:00 p.m. along South Egg Harbor Road.
According to authorities, 72-year-old John Amendolia Jr. was traveling in the vicinity of the South Egg Harbor Road and Old Forks Road intersection when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the accident remain unclear; however, it has been confirmed that the accident involved an 18-wheeler. Amendolia reportedly sustained critical injuries as a result of the incident; he was transported to a local hospital by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries, having been declared deceased at the hospital. There have not been any other injuries reported.
