Harrison County, TX — April 4, 2024, Joe John Chadd was injured in a motorcycle versus pickup truck accident just before 11:00 a.m. along F.M. 2208.
According to authorities, 63-year-old Joe John Chadd was traveling on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the left of two southbound lanes on F.M. 2208 approaching the Williams Road intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a pickup truck that was traveling eastbound at a stop sign on Williams road failed to yield the right of way at the intersection in its attempt to turn left onto northbound Farm to Market 2208. As a result, it was involved in a T-bone collision with the motorcycle. The front-end of the motorcycle collided with the left side of the pickup truck.
Chadd incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
