Without knowing exact details, I can’t help wondering why one person was killed here while everyone else reportedly was more or less okay. There could be a perfectly normal explanation for this, or it could be a red flag that something that protected everyone else failed to protect the victim killed in the crash. For example, if that person’s airbag didn’t deploy properly, it’s possible this would have been a survivable accident in a vehicle with a working airbag. This isn’t the sort of thing authorities often look into, and it may take more thorough independent investigations to make sure something serious like a vehicle defect didn’t slip through the cracks. Have those steps been taken here, or is there still more to this story?
