San Antonio, TX — July 9, 2025, Jeremiah Vannavong was killed as the result of a car accident at around midnight along Talavara Ridge.
According to officials, the accident took place north of the Talavara Ridge and Worth Parkway intersection, east of I-10.
Investigators said that 29-year-old Jeremiah Vannavong was on a motorcycle going along the roadway. It appears a serious crash occurred, and Jeremiah Vannavong was fatally injured as a result. There were no other reported injuries.
Authorities initial said they weren’t sure if another vehicle was involved in the accident. However, updated statements showed there was a car involved. The cause of the crash, however, remains unconfirmed.

Motorcycle wrecks always carry an inherent level of caution due to the fact that people are sometimes quick to blame riders without really giving an accident the attention it deserves. The fact authorities seemed so unsure of whether or not a car was involved here raises red flags that this was not a typical investigation. If nothing else, it might warrant further independent investigations to find out what police looked at and what factors they may have overlooked. If they’ve been able to look at everything since their initial reports, that’s good. But if there are stones being left unturned, it would be reasonable to want another set of eyes digging into whatever may have been ignored.
