Henderson County, TX — March 23, 2023, Jeffrey Willey and another were injured in a collision with an 18-wheeler around 10:30 p.m. on F.M. 317 in Henderson County.
Authorities report Mr. Willey’s westbound Chevy Silverado 3500 collided head-on with an eastbound Dodge Ram 3500 that was pulling a livestock trailer. The Dodge pickup truck had allegedly entered the westbound traffic lane in a no-passing zone.
The collision reportedly pushed the Silverado backward, spinning counter-clockwise, and the Dodge exited the roadway on the east side where it struck a wire fence.
Both drivers purportedly suffered serious injuries.
The toxicology report for the Dodge driver has not been released, however, authorities have not ruled drinking out as a possible factor.
