Right now, no further information can be confirmed. My concern in these situations is that authorities tend to be quick to move on after looking at just a few of the more obvious factors surrounding the accident. More thorough independent investigations often dig deeper than that, and they can find factors authorities completely missed. For example, is there an issue with the design or maintenance of this stretch of road? Is there not enough signage or lighting to make the curve in the road clear and visible? That’s obviously not a common factor, but that’s exactly why thorough investigations are important. It’s not enough to get just an easy explanation. The whole story should be clear, especially when there could be issues even the people involved in the accident weren’t aware of.
