Rockdale, TX — December 12, 2023, James Anderson was killed in a pedestrian car accident that took place along Highway 79.
According to reports, James Anderson—age 79—was walking along Highway 79 attempting to cross the street from the local Walmart to a nearby hotel when the accident took place.
Allegedly, Anderson attempted to cross at an unsafe time, resulting in him being struck by oncoming auto traffic to which he had failed to yield right-of-way. He was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
