Armstrong County, TX — June 13, 2025, Jaclyn Watson and two others were injured following a car accident at around 2:41 p.m. along FM 1151.
Authorities reported that the crash took place in the area of the FM 1151 and FM 3330 intersection, west of Claude.

According to officials, 37-year-old Jaclyn Watson was in a Toyota Camry going eastbound. A Ford F-150 was at the intersection going southbound. Authorities allege that the Ford failed to yield coming through the stop sign, and the vehicles collided as a result.
Authorities say that Jaclyn Watson had serious injuries due to the crash. Two people in the Ford reportedly had less serious injuries. Right now, additional details about the accident are unavailable.

What often surprises people is learning how crashes like the one described here can actually be rather complex. It may seem open-and-shut, considering someone is blamed for failing to yield. At the end of the day, though, it takes a lot of clear evidence and proper handling of that evidence to get people the help they deserve. Authorities rarely prioritize that, since their focus tends to be on issuing citations or criminal charges.
This is how people can end up months down the line without clear evidence because they thought authorities had everything handled. Meanwhile, authorities had already moved on to other responsibilities without so much as a second thought. That’s why it can be helpful for folks to follow up with authorities as soon as possible. If it seems like they’re covering as much ground as possible, that’s a good sign investigations were thorough.
But if it seems authorities just filed their citations and moved on, the accident may need a second look from independent investigators to make sure the victims and families involved end up with all of the evidence they need to seek a resolution.
