Garland, TX — November 9, 2023, Jack Anthony Clerc was killed and four were following a car accident at around 12:54 p.m. along West Miller Road.
According to details released by authorities, the crash happened near the intersection of West Miller Road and South Jupiter Road.
Officials said that 59-year-old Jack Clerc was in a Hyundai Elantra going eastbound along Miller Road. From oncoming lanes, it appears a Chevy pickup allegedly going at unsafe speeds crashed into a Toyota Tacoma, then veered over the center median into eastbound lanes. As a result, Clerc’s Hyundai and the Chevy collided.
As a result of the collision, Clerc sustained fatal injuries. Three people in the Chevy had incapacitating injuries while a child in the vehicle apparently had non-incapacitating injuries. There are no reported charges at this time, and it’s unclear whether or not authorities are considering any going forward. No further information is available at this time.
