Harris County, TX — August 19, 2023, Isela Jaqueline Andrade sustained fatal injuries due to an apparent hit-and-run accident at 3:30 a.m. along West Little York Road.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it took place along the 11800 block of West Little York Road just off Cunningham Road.
Initial reports from Houston officials indicate that Isela Jaqueline Andrade was apparently a passenger in a vehicle that was going along West Little York Road. The vehicle reportedly pulled over and Andrade exited due to becoming ill, authorities said in their statements. At some point during this time, Andrade may have been in the area of West Little York lanes of travel, and a vehicle struck her. That vehicle then left the scene.
Andrade ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries as a result of the accident. There were no other reported injuries. Authorities have not said if they’ve identified the driver that left the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
