Dallas, TX — September 24, 2023, Homar Lomas Jr. was killed as the result of a car accident at around 3:16 a.m. on North Beckley Avenue.
Authorities said following preliminary investigations that the crash occurred at the intersection of North Beckley Avenue and West Tilden Street.
Officials said that 20-year-old Homar Lomas Jr. was in a Toyota Camry that was going southbound along Beckley. The vehicle apparently went off the right side of the road, hitting the curb before careening sideways into a traffic signal. Lomas was thrown from the vehicle during the accident, resulting in fatal injuries.
Right now, additional details about the crash cannot be confirmed. Authorities suggested another vehicle may have been involved, but no further information is available pending investigations.
