If authorities have yet to make progress here, it would likely do good to keep putting details out to the public. Generally speaking, the community is a vital tool following a hit-and-run. Someone is often able to connect the dots and come forward with new information. It’s even possible one of the nearby homes had a camera that caught the incident on video. Even months after a hit-and-run, diligence can still lead to an identity and an arrest. Hopefully authorities here haven’t moved on without giving this incident its due attention.
